SUMMARY:

The Operations Director’s role is to plan, direct and coordinate operations while improving performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability through effective methods and strategies.  The Operations Director evaluates, develops, plans, implements and monitors operations’ activities to increase uptime, customer satisfaction, and sales/gross profit margin, as well as ensures on-time installations, conversions, and upgrades, and compliance with network rules and regulations. The Director will also play an important role in promoting Paramount’s corporate culture and core values throughout the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compliance with all network, sponsor bank, and governing authority regulations
  • Achieve corporate uptime goals
  • Deliver deployment, conversion, and upgrade projects on-time and within budget
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing on new technology pilots and provide feedback on results
  • Increase Gross Profit Margin through continued cost reduction and service level improvements
  • Uphold Paramount’s values and foster a balance of performance expectation and relationship building
  • Maintain effective working relationships and communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers
  • Implement an on-line collaborative priority tracking system
  • Establish a program of continuous improvement with action plans, root cause analysis, and corrective measures, that are communicated throughout the organization
  • Manage vendors through metric-driven reports and reviews to continually improve vendor performance
  • Establish and maintain various regular departmental and 1:1 meetings
  • Provide written and oral presentations that provide transparency into departmental performance results
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences as required
  • Occasional domestic travel
  • Other related tasks as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College degree, preferably in business administration, management, or operations management
  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years’ increasing leadership experience in the ATM industry with focus in operations
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of business and management, finance and accounting, human resource, and project management
  • Information technology skills
